Refund policy

We want you to pay only for learning you actually get. This page explains when you can get your money back and how to ask for it.
Refund rules by programme
| Programme | Your refund |

| Group classes | A full refund any time from the day you register until your group starts. If a group does not reach the minimum number of learners and we cannot start it, you can wait, move to another group or option, or take a full refund. |
| Private lessons (English, Spanish, German) | A full refund until your first session. After that, we refund the sessions you have not used, in proportion to the price you paid. |
| IELTS preparation | A full refund until your first session. After that, we refund the hours you have not used, in proportion to the price you paid. |
| Real Talk English Club (monthly) | Cancel any time and you will not be charged again. You keep access until the end of the month you already paid for. A month that has already started is not refunded. |
| Recorded English A1.1 course | A full refund within 14 days of buying, as long as you have completed less than a quarter (25%) of the course. |
How to ask for a refund
Email support@langso.org from the email address on your LangSo account. Tell us which programme you want refunded. You do not need to give a reason.
We reply within 2 working days. Approved refunds are sent within 7 days of your request, back to the card or payment method you used. Your bank may take a few more days to show the money.
Who processes refunds
Payments on LangSo are handled by Creem, our payment provider and merchant of record. Refunds go back through Creem to your original payment method. The amount refunded is the amount you paid, including any tax charged at checkout.
What happens after a refund
When a refund is made, your access to that programme ends. Anything else you have bought stays as it is.
Missed and cancelled sessions
- Private lessons and IELTS: if you cancel or move a session at least 24 hours before it starts, we reschedule it. If you cancel later than that, or do not attend, the session counts as used.
- If your teacher cancels a session, it is always rescheduled. If we cannot reschedule it, we refund it.
- Group classes and the club: sessions run at fixed times. A session you miss is not refunded or repeated.
Your rights under the law
This policy does not take away any right to a refund you have under the consumer law of the country you live in.
